ABSOLUT Fringe - No Man's Land
One of the nice features of Dublin's theatre festivals is that they reach out beyond the physical confines of the participating theatres and into the city at large. This year ABSOLUT Fringe includes a work of public art called No Man's Land. The artificial island is located on the Liffey between Sean O'Casey Bridge and Samuel Beckett Bridge - very appropriate bridge names for a theatre festival.
The artist, Fergal McCarthy, has a blog at fergalmccarthy.blogspot.com/ and the official Fringe page is here. The Twitter hashtag the artist will be using is #NoMansLand.
