After a quiet few weeks, several new plays are starting this week.
Curse of the Starving Class starts in the Abbey Theatre on Saturday 27th, with previews beginning on Tuesday 23rd. The Abbey's website helpfully points out that "this production contains nudity and will feature a live animal on stage."
The latest play in Project Arts Centre is Beckett's All That Fall. It previewed tonight and opens tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd.
The Harold Pinter play Ashes to Ashes also begins on Tuesday 23rd, in the Complex in Smithfield. It's nice to see the venue offering a new theatre company their first break.
If you're looking for lunchtime theatre, there's a new play in Bewley's, Holy Mary.
Also running at the moment is Hay Fever in the Gate Theatre, and Bedbound in the New Theatre.
