The Bio-Rhythm exhibition in Science Gallery ended in style, with a fascinating and enjoyable musical show including Sean Nos, beatbox and a medical / scientific perspective on vocals.
Superb, just superb. Next time beatboxer Shlomo is back in town I will be sure to be there. Turns out humans are polyphonic... impressively so in his case. I'm told that his fellow beatboxer Beardyman is even more impressive. Either way: more beatbox please.
Jennifer Walshe's vocal performance, based on animal noises, wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but I liked it. Roisin Elsafty sung Sean Nos; she has a very good voice.
The show finished with The Mornington Singers. They included some Estonian songs; nice.
